The Massachusetts Vocational Association nominated Lieutenant Governor Timothy Murray for this award because of his long standing support for vocational education. He has spoken and acted favorably toward vocational education throughout his entire political career. As the Mayor of Worcester he initiated the process of building a new high school that resulted in a $100,000,000.00 vocational school. During this presentation he expressed an interest in getting the vocational capital education bill funded among other issues. We are proud to call Lieutenant Governor Timothy Murray a friend.
