As many of you know, this is the time of change for our Association. In July we will be bringing in a new President, Vice President, President Elect and Recording Secretary. We will be saying goodbye and thank you for a great job and years of service to some of our building representatives.
I personally want to say thank you to the MVA Executive Board members and all the volunteers to numerous to mention in this message and past Executive Board members for assisting me during my term as President, I could not have performed my duties and responsibilities without them.
As for me, the time has absolutely flown by all to quickly. Moving through the chairs of Secretary, Vice President. President Elect and eventually President happens so fast that you feel you never catch up to the tasks. The best part of any of the positions is the people that you get to work with during your time. Everyone becomes not only friends and advisors, but also more like family. I always look forward to the MVA Convention, the summer conference and other events we host during the school year for no greater reason than the chance to spend time with our members and friends.
I got involved in the MVA because it gives me the opportunity to make a positive difference in technical vocational education. My desire is you will get involved and make our Association better and stronger for our members and our students.
Have a great summer, enjoy your family, come back rested and be ready to participate in the Massachusetts Vocational Association in anyway you can.
Thank you to everyone for the opportunity to serve as your President.
Sincerely,
Michael A. Viggiano
